GETFITDIARY

01
Motivation behind GetFitDiary
I was always searching for an app where I could log everything daily while tracking my calories. Since I struggled with weight, I wanted a clear overview of my progress - and I also missed having motivation built into the experience.
01

Color palette
For the visual design, I chose green because it’s strongly associated with fitness, health, and balance. I used softer, calmer shades to create a more welcoming and health-oriented feel, helping users stay motivated without feeling overwhelmed.
02

Competitor analysis
After researching and comparing three similar fitness apps, I identified their main features - some worth including in my own concept. My main focus, however, was on their weaknesses, which helped me decide what not to include in my design.
02
Survey
I created a survey to learn which features people value most in a fitness app, ensuring that the features I included in my design were based on real user needs.
Recommended ideas
Based on the recommended features from my research, I incorporated the most important ones into my design.

CONCLUSION
& DESIGN

Features that people considered necessary
I incorporated several of the ideas that came up during research, making sure the design aligned closely with real user needs and expectations.
